Catherine Scheinman is a senior media executive, with extensive
knowledge of the television and film industry in both the United States
and Europe. In February 2011, Scheinman joined MY Entertainment as
VP, Development.
Formerly VP, Development for IMG Media and Lion Television and Director of Acquisitions and Co-productions at MetroChannel, Scheinman is highly skilled in creating content and developing original reality, lifestyle and documentary programming for major television networks worldwide.
Scheinman has amassed an impressive roster of development credits, including Bridezillas for MetroChannel and Wetv, Better Half for Bravo, and Blush: The Search for America's Next Top Make-up Artist for Lifetime.
Prior to her tenure at MetroChannel, Scheinman was a programming and development executive at The Reader's Digest Association in their Global Video & Television division and worked extensively internationally, producing and co-producing feature films, TV movies and documentaries. She also line produced Walter Cronkite's autobiography, Cronkite Remembers for CBS and Discovery.
