UKTV Increases Paranormal Activity

UKTV is to coproduce a 12-part paranormal series with the creators of long-running Travel Channel show Ghost Adventures. Help! My House is Haunted! (12×60’) has been created by Zak Bagans, the executive producer and host of Ghost Adventures, which is now in its 13th season.UKTV will air the show on its Really channel, the UK home of Ghost Adventures, early in 2018.The series is being coproduced by Michael Yudin’s New York-based factual prodco MY Entertainment and UK firm Back2Back with UKTV. Alfred Haber Television holds international distribution rights.Help! My House is Haunted! was ordered by UKTV acquisitions and coproduction manager Emma Sparks and Really general manager Luke Hales.Bagans and Yudin will executive produce alongside David Notman-Watt for Brighton-based indie Back2Back.The show follows a team of investigators who look into homeowners’ reports of paranormal activity.MY Entertainment has entered into an exclusive development deal with Bagans that has seen this commission – plus a coproduction with access to Charles Manson’s grandson Jason Freeman, who wants to meet his notorious murderer grandfather before he dies in prison – added its slate.
